Matthew Catalfo is a 2016 OF with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Manhasset, NY who attends Manhasset Secondary. Slender young build, lots of room to get stronger. Left handed hitter, low hand start, narrow bent knee stance, short quick swing, keeps his hands close to his body, contact approach, spray contact to all fields and handles the barrel well. 6.93 runner, quick first step on the bases with good base running instincts, will steal a base. Moves through the ball well in the outfield and shows his athleticism and speed, arm strength still developing. Good student.
