Chase LeBlanc is a 2021 LHP with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Cocoa, FL who attends Cocoa High School. Large, athletic frame with broad shoulders and present phsyicality to frame, additional room to fill moving forward. Primary lefthanded pitcher, smooth delivery and shows ability to repeats, long and full arm action through the back, both quick and clean working to an extended three-quarters release point. Works on top of the ball well and able to produce solid running life to arm side on fastball while topping out at 83 mph. Understands how to pitch and fills up the strike zone; goes to big 1-7 shaped curveball as out pitch, late break and depth in the upper-60s for strikes and able to miss bats as a result. Hit from the right side, strides into contact well and shows a short and quick path to the ball. Occasionally opens front side early, shows ability to generate back spin to pull side when on time and incorporates physical strength well to drive ball off the barrel. Named to 14U National Showcase Top Prospect List. Verbal commitment to Miami.
