Kevin Lara is a 2015 RHP with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Kissimmee, FL who attends Osceola HS. Tall, strongly built, proportioned frame. Looks the part on the mound. Pitches from a three-quarter arm slot and has a long, loose arm action. Ball comes out of his hand clean and arm works consistently. Stays closed at his balanced point and repeats his delivery. Shows good arm speed and tops at 90 mph with his fastball. Flashes arm side running action. Also mixes an 11-5 curveball at 75 mph with good shape and tight rotation. Also uses a changeup at 80 mph that he spots well. Well rounded pitching talent. Named to Top Prospect list.
