Jack Winsett is a 2019 SS/RHP, IF, OF, UT with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Cherry Hill, NJ who attends Eastern. Large frame with solid, athletic build; good projection remaining. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.45 seconds. Sets up to hit from slightly open stance and narrow base, lower hand set, bars back slightly into load, rotational lower half mechanics, line drive plane with good strength off the barrel to pull side when on time. Worked out in the infield; moves well to ball and reads hops well, works through the ball and gets off quick release with good arm strength, clocked up to 82 mph across. Also pitched; throws from three quarters arm slot, fastball worked 78-80 mph with late, heavy life. Pounds fastball down in the zone. Worked in curveball with two-plane shape, regularly throws it for strikes and is very effective pitch. Good command overall. Good student.
