Tres Gonzalez is a 2019 OF/LHP with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Sandy Springs, GA who attends Mount Vernon Presbyterian HS. Recorded a 6.75 second 60-yard dash time. Medium lean frame with plenty of room to fill out and add strength. Primary outfielder with a good first step and smooth fielding actions. Throws from a lower three-quarters arm slot and gets good carry through release. Arm strength recorded up to 86 mph with a quick exchange and tight release. Secondary lefthanded pitcher with a small rocker step and a big crossfire delivery. Lower three-quarters arm slot and a loose arm. Compact and clean arm circle with good run on the fastball. Gets over the front side easily and consistently. Leg lift at the waist and good feel to manipulate spin. Very low effort delivery with deception. Curveball had two distinct shapes and got some swing and miss. Lefthanded hitter with an upright stance. High hand set and high back elbow with a downhill swing plane. Short and direct swing to all fields. Tremendous student.
