Josh Hartle is a 2021 LHP/1B with a 6-5 195 lb. frame from King, NC who attends Reagan. Long and lanky athletic build with huge physical projection remaining. Easy and fluid balanced delivery, loose low effort arm stroke from an extended 3/4's to mid-3/4's arm slot, ball comes out of his hand effortlessly. Fastball topped out at 91 mph, works fastball from side to side with intent and jammed many right handed hitters on the glove side inner half. Has feel for both a big breaking curveball and a nice change up that mimics his fastball well. Knows how to sequence, change speed and use locations. Only a matter of time before he starts throwing harder. High ceiling left hander. Good student, verbal commitment to Wake Forest. Named to play in the Perfect Game All-American Classic.
