Joseph Muccilli is a 2019 RHP/IF, OF with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Fords, NJ who attends Woodbridge. Medium frame with an athletic build and beginnings of strength. Frame projects to support additional strength. Primary right handed pitcher with a smooth paced side step to medium leg lift delivery. Stays tall on back side with slightly coil over back leg at gather. Deep arm circle at take back and released from a three-quarters slot. Gets of top of fastball offering well and generated good downhill tilt through the zone with run in the upper 70's to low 80's, topped at 82 miles per hour. Curveball had 11/5 shape with tight spin and good depth in the low 70's. Matched arm slot and arm speed well with breaking ball. Also flashed a changeup in the low 70's. Consistently worked to each edge of the plate while displayed good feel for all three pitches. Also worked out defensively from the infield showing smooth paced footwork while surrounding the baseball. Funnels out front and worked through exchange efficiently. Released from a three-quarters arm slot producing stiff, accurate carry to the bag at 86 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with an upright, open stance and simple leg lift trigger. Worked to contact with rotational lower half actions. Loose hand path to baseball with a line drive plane through extension. Utilized a mid field approach primarily worked between the gaps. Flashed some jump off the barrel with good carry when on time and squared.
