Konner Gayle is a 2018 SS/RHP, 2B, OF with a 5-9 142 lb. frame from Rusk, TX who attends Rusk. Gayle has a lean build with room to fill out and add strength. Hit from a square stance with a high hand/elbow start. Short step and shift into contact with a line drive swing plane with lift at contact. Had consistent contact to pull side. Defensively, primary SS, fields ball out front, moves well to ball with good action and hands. Shows lateral range. Also pitched. Slow paced delivery with a low leg lift. Gets hip and back turned at balance point. Has high 3/4 arm slot with short compact arm action. Good Student.
