Zachary McCarthy is a 2020 SS/ with a 5-9 145 lb. frame from Plympton, MA who attends Silver Lake Reg. Medium frame with slender, athletic present build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.45 seconds. Hits from quiet, even-based stance with toe tap trigger, good balance to swing, hands work well and get out front on line drive swing plane, whole-field approach, shows ability to get the head out and impact the ball pullside, good hitting tools, will improve as he continues gaining strength. Worked out in the infield, short steps to each side with balance and range, hands work well out front, footwork works well, works through into crow hop, clocked up to 77 mph on throws with quick release. Very good student.
