Adam Boucher is a 2020 RHP/OF with a 6-5 205 lb. frame from Metuchen, NJ who attends St. Joseph. Large broad shouldered build, plenty of room to get stronger. Rocker step into a Power T arm action, high 3/4's arm stroke, stays on line well, showed body control and got his upper and lower halves in sync well, creates big downhill angle at times. Fastball topped out at 91 mph, maintained his velocity well and threw strikes with his fastball, mostly straight with occasional arm side life. Showed good power to his curveball with nice 11/5 shape and some tightness and bite, still developing consistency in his release point on this pitch. Showed nice sinking life on his change up with somewhat slower arm speed. Projectable right hander with three present pitches that should keep improving. Outstanding student, verbal commitment to Duke.
