Kyle Bakely is a 2016 RHP/OF with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Sewell, NJ who attends Paul Vl HS. Tall projectable frame, room to fill out physically as he continues to put on additional muscle. Posted a 7.47 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, throws from a high ¾ arm slot, long arm action, fairly quick arm speed, high leg lift, gets extension and bend, high energy delivery, some leg drive. Slider has sharp break, able to throw it for strikes consistently. 11/5 curveball shape, trusts his slider more at this time, solid depth to curveball. Has an idea how to pitch, goes right after guys, more velocity there as he continues to develop. From the outfield, fields the ball to his side, developing actions, short compact arm action on throws. At the plate, right-handed hitter that starts with a narrow stance, high hand set, and high back elbow. Has a high leg lift trigger, swings on a line drive swing plane, pull side approach, gets extension out front, developing bat speed and timing. Arm projects on the mound. Named to Mid-Atlantic Top Prospect List.
