Nathan Hollenbeck is a 2024 RHP/3B with a 6-3 175 lb. frame from Rolesville, NC who attends Rolesville. Long and lean projectable build with notably young features. Nice and easy well paced delivery, compact arm action that hides the ball very well from hitters, works quickly and with purpose on the mound, really repeats his mechanics well enabling him to throw a very high percentage of strikes. Consistent upper 70's fastball, velocity played up to the deception in his mechanics, plenty more velocity there as he physically matures. Slider was a very good secondary pitch with good depth and an advanced ability to land the pitch for strikes. Just a matter of his getting stronger for him to take the next step in his raw stuff. 7.44 runner in the sixty, plays third base when not on the mound. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with a good shift into contact, will get too far out front at times, works the middle of the field with some lift out front in his swing. Good student.
