Chris Boyle is a 2017 1B with a 5-10 185 lb. frame from Madison, MS who attends St. Andrew`s HS. Compact athletic build, good present strength especially in his lower half. Right handed hitter, wide base, gets to his backside to load well, good movement into contact, will get out front early at times and reach, has quick hands and creates good bat speed, line drive swing plane, looking to pull and drive the ball. 7.74 runner, has good footwork around the first base bag, throwing mechanics still need development. Bat and strength will be his carrying tool. Good student.
