Max LeCroy is a 2019 OF/RHP/2B with a 6-1 150 lb. frame from Asheville, NC who attends Christ HS. Slender young build, broad shoulders, lots of room to get bigger and stronger. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance, with a tight hand start and a late takeaway hand load, needs to get hands back sooner to time consistently, once the barrel gets going he showed some beginning bat speed and solid line drive contact, tools to improve with adjustments and additional strength. 6.97 runner, good athletic actions in the outfield, has sound fundamental footwork and good direction through his release, makes very accurate throws with some carry, also plays the infield. Fastball up to 81 mph on the mound from a multi-part delivery with a full arm swing and some effort at release. Good athlete who should keep improving. Good student.
