Calvin Harris is a 2020 C/RHP/OF with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Peosta, IA who attends Western Dubuque. Solid athletic build with very good present strength, pretty mature physically. Very athletic catcher defensively, runs and 6.68 sixty and is compact and quick in all his defensive actions, very quick from reception to release on his throws, big raw arm strength, makes accurate throws and will throw out runners, chance to be a standout defensively. Left handed hitter, hits from a spread and open stance, has a short inside swing path that is bottom hand heavy, tends to stay on his backside, opposite field to mid field orientation at present, will flash bat speed and power potential when he gets out front. Defense will carry him while he makes adjustments offensively at the next level. Outstanding student, verbal commitment to Mississippi. Named to play in the Perfect Game All-American Classic.
