Chandler Murphy is a 2019 RHP/1B with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from Peoria, AZ who attends Liberty HS. Nice athletic build with good length and plenty of physical projection. Back turn delivery, not consistent in getting rotated back on line, tends to land on the side of his foot and spin off, high 3/4's arm slot, creates good angle to the plate. Fastball topped out at 90 mph, mostly straight. Slurve type breaking ball has good spin and bite, has been his go to pitch in the past. Good sinking action on a firm change up. Will continue to improve as he gets stronger and makes directional adjustments in his delivery. Good student, verbal commitment to Arizona.
