Carson Swilling is a 2020 RHP/OF with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Smith Station, AL who attends Smith Station. Medium build with good present strength. Sound delivery with some energy at release, high 3/4's arm slot, tends to get a bit higher in his release on his curveball than his fastball or change up. Fastball worked in the low 90's and topped out at 93 mph, had outstanding life on it at times, threw strikes with his fastball and challenged hitters. Slurve type breaking ball, showed tight 11/5 spin when he was on top of it and had biting action. Some developing feel for his change up and shows three-pitch starter potential with the ability to command and work off his fastball. Good student, verbal commitment to Auburn.
