Drew Bryan is a 2020 C/RHP, OF with a 5-11 190 lb. frame from Sanford, NC who attends Southern Lee. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and present strength to frame, additional room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.50 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, higher set behind the plate during drills, compact in game and does a nice job of receiving the ball out front; quick exchange into a longer arm action, works on top of the ball well and gets on top of throws, can continue to implement additional lower half into gaining ground moving forward. Righthanded hitter, begins with a narrow base and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; simple load with a leg lift trigger. Easy swing and shows both looseness and quickness to path, stays short through the zone and does a nice job of hitting the ball out front. Works the middle and pull side parts of the field, shows balance to swing and shows carry off the barrel. Nice tools that will continue to develop. Excellent student.
