Gavin White is a 2019 RHP/3B/MIF with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Kokomo, IN who attends Western HS. Average lean build with room to get stronger. Right handed hitter with an upright open stance, and a high back elbow set. Uses a simple leg lift trigger at load. Rotational lower half with a simple path to contact. Gets loaded early, sitting on back side and starts with hands back. Level swing with a line drive path through contact. Was also a secondary right handed pitcher. Uses a big slide step delivery. Has a long arm circle in back, with a quick and loose arm action. Releases from an extended 3/4 release point. Throws slightly across body, landing on the third base side of the mound. Has a lot of movement in the delivery but repeats well and causes some deception. Showed some cut to the fastball in the upper 70's and topped at 80 miles per hour. Also threw an 11/5 curveball at 70 miles per hour. Curve showed late break and was able to keep it at the knees and lower.
