Drake Frazier is a 2019 OF/ with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Cedar Rapids, IA who attends Thomas Jefferson. Very athletic frame with square shoulders and strength in the lower half. Ran a 6.72 second 60-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary outfielder. Sits back some and works through teh ball fielding out in front. Quick funnel up and into a compact action. Clean release of the baseball with accurate throws to the base touching 85 miles per hour. Righthanded hitter with a narrow and slightly open stance to start. Gets the hands back at load and showing explosivess when working through a leveraged plane. Creates barrel speed through the zone with a rotational lower half shift. Works to the pull side swinging with intent. Verbal commitment to South Dakota State.
