Jackson Fisher is a 2019 C/RHP, 3B with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Chariton, IA who attends Chariton. Large frame with long limbs and wiry strength. Frame projects to support additional size and strength. Ran a 7.12 sixty-yard dash. Primary catcher with a taller, slightly side set stance while receiving the baseball. Gains ground well while working out of crouch with sound footwork. Clean glove circle and exchange prior to releasing from a compact arm slot. Throws generated accurate carry to the bag topping at 77 miles per hour, best workout pop time of 1.96. Also worked out defensively from the infield showing soft hands while funneling the baseball with solid lateral range. Fluid actions through transition and and producing accurate carry across the infield, topped at 82 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with an open stance. Creates some top half coil at load and launches to contact on a loose, extended path. Created a slightly lifted barrel plane through extension while swinging with intent. Flashed the ability to throw barrel head and produced hard contact to the gaps when squared. Also pitched utilizing a simple, balanced delivery. Compact arm action at take back and released from a three-quarters slot. Fastball flashed some run to arm side in the mid to upper 70's, topped at 78 miles per hour. Curveball had 11/5 shape with solid spin and some depth in the mid 60's. Named to the 2018 Rocky Mountain Showcase Top Prospect List.
