Felix Cruz is a 2020 SS/ with a 5-9 140 lb. frame from Las Piedras, PR who attends Colegio San Antonio Abad. Medium frame with a solid build. Primary shortstop with aggressive footwork while closing to and surrounding the baseball. Funnels out front and worked through exchange cleanly. Maintained momentum towards the bag while releasing from a three-quarters slot. Throws generated solid carry across the infield with developing accuracy at 80 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with a slightly crouched, even stance and simple front side trigger. Stays balanced and works to contact with rotational lower half actions. Loose, extended hand path to baseball with a slightly lifted barrel plane through extension. Repeats well and displayed good feel for the barrel throughout the zone. Primarily worked to the middle of the field but showed the bat head control to work to all fields as well.
