Chase Loggins is a 2021 OF/RHP/1B with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Charleston, SC who attends Bishop England HS. Large, athletic frame with square shoulders and long limbs, lean and projectable build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.45 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, graded out best on the mound in this look. Simple and quick paced delivery on the mound, over-the-head gather with hands, leg lift trigger to the belt, compact and on line arm action through the back. Shows quickness with arm, slight cross body release and generates cut action on fastball up to 78 mph. Low effort delivery, nice depth to curveball with 11-5 shape, similar release point out of hand as fastball. Moves well in the outfield, short and athletic steps working to the ball, full transfer into whippy arm action, projects with strength. Righthanded hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate, even and narrow base in the box. Upper body dominant swing, stays short to the ball with path and creates contact out front, occasionally pulls front side early, shows best contact to the middle of the field with a linear swing path. Excellent student.
