Brett Weatherly is a 2018 OF/RHP, UT with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Emmitsburg, MD who attends Catoctin. Medium frame with slender, athletic present build; very good projection remaining. Excellent runner, clocked a 4.85 seconds time in the 40 yard dash. Medium-high leg lift trigger into swing load, good rotation in hips creating torque at contact, did a good job getting onto consistent line drive swing plane and making firm contact out front. Stayed committed to the middle of the field, did a very good job stroking liners all over the field. Worked out defensively in the outfield, short and quick steps to the ball with good balance, fields cleanly out front and does a good job working through the ball and maintaining momentum. Clean arm stroke with good arm speed, showed good accuracy on throws, clocked up to 82 MPH. Good student.
