Henry Mitcham is a 2021 2B/SS, OF with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Lexington, KY who attends Henry Clay. Strong build with present athleticism and room to fill out. Ran a 7.06 second sixty-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary infielder. Flashed athletic actions working to and through the baseball in the infield. Displayed clean glove actions with low out front funnels and clean transfers. Flashed good range working to both sides of the infield including a clean backhand. Showed good arm strength with accurate carry across the diamond topping out at 79 mph to first base. Right handed hitter. Employs an even stance with a little weight transfer. Displayed the ability to create bat speed working the barrel out front creating consistently driven contact to the pull side. Showed good barrel control consistently throughout batting practice with consistently driven line drives and fly balls to the pull side. Excellent student.
