Griffin Snyder is a 2019 1B/OF/RHP with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Marietta, GA who attends Lassiter HS. Large frame with durable, athletic frame; body projects some as well. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.53 seconds. Sets up to hit from spread-out, slightly open stance with high back elbow and simple leg lift trigger. Shows some hand quickness into swing, downward path, very short and compact swing. Keeps hands inside, approach is up the middle and to opposite field. Worked out in a pair of spots. Good footwork with quick feet at 1st base, athletic on and off the bag, good arm strength with accuracy, clocked up to 80 MPH across. Longer strides to the ball in the OF, works through it well, gets over front side well and shows quality arm strength, clocked up to 82 MPH. Pitched as well, pitches exclusively from the stretch, gets online in delivery and drives downhill. Throws from high 3/4 arm slot, fastball worked 72-76 MPH; mixed in curveball with 12/6 shape and good depth. Pitched with good tempo and threw strikes. Good student.
