Starlyn Castillo Cepeda is a RHP from the Dominican Republic. Medium build with broad shoulders and some present strength, especially in the lower half. Full loose arm action with a hook in back, 3/4's arm slot, calm and well paced on line delivery, low effort release. Mid-80's fastball, topped out at 87 mph, gets consistent sinking and running life and will throw it to spots. Will occasionally slow his body on his curveball but maintains arm speed well and shows good power and spin to the pitch. Nice change up with fading action and some feel. Three pitch starter with the ability to throw strikes a mature approach to pitching.
