Travis Garnett is a 2021 LHP/1B with a 6-6 225 lb. frame from Pasadena, MD who attends Indian Creek School. Extra big and strong athletic build. Very high leg lift delivery going to an extended mid-3/4's arm slot, lots of arm/leg deception to go with the lower slot, quick arm, very athletic delivery for an athlete this size. Fastball topped out at 93 mph, big velocity jump from the last time seen, also showed the ability to drop true sidearm at 88 mph. High spin rate slider up to 3,000 rpm, tight and big at times, slider can be close to an unhittable pitch for left handed hitters with the arm slot and quality. Developing change up with some present feel. Size, deception and bump in raw stuff is an impressive package. Excellent student, verbal commitment to Maryland.
