2020 Sunshine Showcase at Prasco Park  
Colby Guy is a 2021 SS/RHP with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Charlotte, NC who attends Legion Collegiate Academy. Slender young build with lots of room to fill out and get stronger. Very good runner, 6.74 in the sixty, has quick twitch actions in the middle of the infield on defense, moves well laterally, has loose and fast hands fielding the ball, plenty of raw arm strength for shortstop. Right handed hitter, has the same sort of quick hands at the plate, short swing with a nice direct path, line drive hitter who can work it to all fields with some gap to gap power, best contact was to right centerfield. Also pitched, works from an extended 3/4's arm slot with good arm speed. Pitched mostly at 84 mph, topped out at 87 mph early while showing nice running life. Created tight spin and some snap on a curveball that he could have thrown more often. Excellent student, verbal commitment to North Carolina Central. Named to the Sunshine Showcase Top Prospect List.
