Gavin Brasosky is a 2021 LHP/1B/OF with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Kalamazoo, MI who attends Portage Central. Medium athletic build with room to get stronger. Free flowing full delivery with a high leg raise start and a 3/4's to mid 3/4's arm slot. Worked consistently in the mid-80's with his fastball, can reach back for 87-88 when he needs it, works the corners with his fastball with some late movement that gets off hitter's barrels. Has confidence in his curveball and will use it at any count, has solid spin and bite and slows down barrels well. Finesse pitcher whose command can be impacted by arm slot inconsistency. Athletic on the mound and fields his position well., ran a 6.81 sixty at the PG Junior National Showcase. Good student, verbal commitment to Tennessee.
