Chris Knier is a 2023 RHP/OF with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Jensen Beach, FL who attends Jensen Beach HS. Athletic frame with good physicality and a very fluid mover. Primary right-handed pitcher with an up tempo delivery. Good rhythm with the hands and lower half, very timed up at foot strike. Coils and turns back toward the hitter to create deception. Maintains intent well through the finish with a quick arm stroke and the fastball got very good riding life and topped out at 90 mph. Lived in the upper-80s and can miss bats up in the zone. Excellent feel to spin with both a slider and a curveball. Slider with more horizontal bite and the curveball with very good depth and downer shape. Right-handed hitter with a big leg lift trigger and a bat waggle during the load. Loads weight onto his backside well with a mostly level swing plane. Strength to the middle of the field and the pull side to project power. Great student. Named to the Florida TP Games TP List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
