Cole Hubka is a 2022 SS/2B with a 5-6 115 lb. frame from Wilsonville, OR who attends Wilsonville. Compact and young frame with plenty of time to continue to grow and fill out. Ran an 8.09 second 60 yard dash. Primary shortstop, fields the baseball out in front, good range laterally especially to his backhand, hands play nicely with a smooth funnel, quick transfer from glove to hand and a quick release when playing the ball to his glove side, developing arm strength that should continue to improve with continued maturity. Righthanded hitter, even base to start leg lift trigger, shifts into contact well, looseness to hands, longer hand path to the baseball, showed present barrel skills, middle of the field approach, should continue to improve at the plate with added strength. Outstanding student.
