Reece Beuter is a 2020 RHP/3B, OF with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Cedar Falls, IA who attends Dike-New Hartford. Right-handed pitcher with a long, lanky build that has room to fill out and continue to add strength. Starts from the windup, with a small side step to a belt high leg lift. Stays slightly flexed at gather, using drop and drive actions down the mound before landing on line at foot strike with good extension over the front side. Stays balanced through finish, showcasing a fast arm from a three-quarter slot. Features a heavy fastball with good run to the arm side up to 90 miles per hour, and pitched in the mid-to-upper-80s with it while generating a lot of swing and miss. Shows good feel to spin a curveball with 10-4 shape and sharp depth at 75 miles per hour. Good student. Verbal commitment to Kirkwood Community College.
