Cameron Lewis is a 2019 3B/OF with a 6-2 178 lb. frame from Bloomington, IL who attends Normal Community West HS. Very athletic young build with lots of physical projection remaining. Right handed hitter, balanced leg lift trigger with a good weight transfer into contact, showed an advanced ability to recognize pitches and lay off balls out of the zone, attacks pitches in the zone with good present bat speed, smooth and fluid swing, squares up the ball hard and consistent, hits to all fields. 7.24 runner, has athletic actions on defense with confident and quick hands, quick transfers and release, very good charging the ball, can improve lateral quickness. Very interesting all around player, especially if the bat continues to develop.
