Alexander Garcia is a 2024 RHP/1B with a 5-11 199 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Felix Varela Senior. Medium frame with a stocky type build showing strength throughout. Ran a 7.80 second sixty yard dash. Primary Right-Handed Pitcher, working exclusively from the stretch. Higher leg lift as he stays balanced before working down the hill. Medium arm circle with a higher slot release. Does a good job staying direct to target and gets the most out of the lower half by getting over front side. Pitchability present as he got plenty of swing and miss. Fastball up to 85 mph early in the outing as he sat low-80's once he settled in. Mixed in a pair of secondaries. Breaking ball showing 12-to-6 movements in the mid-60's. Changeup with fade in the low-70's. Projects on the mound going forward. Secondary First Baseman, young footwork present as he gathers it deep in the stance at times. Loads it up and takes extra steps before throwing. Accurate around the bag while up to 80 mph. Left-Handed Hitter, even and open with high hands behind the ear. Small leg lift to stride. Hands showing strength, especially the top hand. Pull-side approach as he looks to lift.
