Abe Martin is a 2026 MIF/RHP with a 5-7 134 lb. frame from Rainbow City, AL who attends Southside. Smaller young build. 7.02 runner in the sixty. Primary middle infielder on defense, has quick feet and obvious athleticism moving to the ball, showed range to both sides and took good routes to the ball, drops his slot well throwing, best suited for second base at present but will be very good there. Right handed hitter, starts with a deep hand load, is direct to the ball with a line drive swing plane, moves the ball around the field with a contact driven swing approach, bat speed will continue to improve as he gets stronger. Also pitched, works from the stretch with a very basic delivery, has a full arm swing to a 3/4's arm slot. Threw three pitches for strikes and challenged hitters aggressively, fastball topped out at 78 mph to go with a short curveball and nice change up. Good student.
