Ben Nippolt is a 2019 SS/2B with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Saint Paul, MN who attends Mounds Park Academy. Medium frame with a lean build. Frame projects for additional strength. Primary shortstop with sound footwork while traveling to and working through the baseball. Funnels the baseball cleanly and worked through exchange with fluidity. Released from a three-quarters arm slot generated accurate, on line carry to the bag at 82 miles per hour. Left handed hitter with an upright, open stance and simple front side trigger. Strides back to an even position and works to contact with rotational actions. Clean hand path to baseball and utilized a fluid line drive plane. Showed solid feel for with the ability to work to ball to all fields. Flashed some jump with carry to the gaps when squared.
