Kuyper Lashutka is a 2022 SS/2B/OF with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Columbus, OH who attends Upper Arlington. Nice athletic build with plenty of physical projection ahead of him. 6.90 runner in the sixty. Showed solid fundamentals in infield on defense, works through the ball well and gets low behind the ball with an early glove, smooth glove to hand exchange, makes accurate throws, arm strength should continue to improve as he gets stronger. Right handed hitter, hit from a spread bent knee stance, has a short swing with a tight direct hand path, line drive high contact swing approach that works the middle of the field, bat speed will continue to improve with physical maturity. Good overall athlete who projects well. Good student.
