Alex Muren is a 2009 OF/P with a 6'3'', 190 lb. frame from Ramona, CA who attends Ramona HS. Muren is an athletic outfielder with good running speed. At the plate he has a wide base and hits line drives to all fields. His bat projects well, but he will have a few minor adjustments to make to give him more rhythm. He also is a very good RHP. He pitched in the high 80's at the Metrodome from an OT arm angle with a simple delivery. He also has a solid 10/4 curveball and a good change with fade. Good two way prospect to follow closely. He is also a very good student and has made a verbal commitment to Cal St. Northridge.
