Zachary Calcutt is a 2020 C/RHP, 1B, 3B with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Winter Haven, FL who attends Lake Region. Small and young frame with room to fill on the build. Ran an 8.23 second 60 yard dash. Primary catcher, sets up in a high position receiving the ball out in front, comes up out of crouch into an upright release, quick hands that work cleanly with exchange, developing arm strength with accuracy to the bag, 2.21 second best pop time. Secondary righthanded pitcher, high leg lift to begin delivery, compact arm action up to a high 3/4 arm slot, online and high energy delivery, drops arm slot on offspeed offerings, curveball has lots of depth, changeup has cutting action. Righthanded hitter, weight sits on back side, could implement a shift in weight to contact for added pop off of the barrel, long hand path to the ball, good barrel control with line drive approach from gap to gap.
