David Sandlin is a 2019 RHP/1B/OF with a 6-4 190 lb. frame from Owasso, OK who attends Owasso HS. Big athletic build with long limbs, broad shoulders and plenty of room to get stronger. High leg raise delivery, high 3/4's arm slot, arm is loose and some whip in it, can use more lower half in his delivery, low effort release. Steady low 80's fastball, topped out at 83 mph, mostly straight with some glove side cutting action. Change up was a good pitch with plenty of sinking action and good arm speed, could throw more often. Curveball flashed tight spin at times, tends to guide it with a lower release point. 7.68 runner, showed good arm strength and general overall athleticism on defense in the outfield and at first base. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with a big barrel wrap start, long extended swing with a downward swing plane, pull contact. Good student.
