Hugo Carbajo is a 2021 1B/RHP, 3B with a 6-3 210 lb. frame from Biloxi, MS who attends Biloxi. Large frame with a projectable build showing strength throughout the body already. Ran a 7.23 second sixty yard dash. Primary Firstbaseman flashing a good feel for ground balls working out front with clean glove actions. Utilized his strength on throws getting them out in a hurry with them being accurate. Arm strength present as well. Secondary Righthanded pitcher showing a slightly above the waist leg lift before using a small crossfire step to the plate. Compact arm action while delivering from a high three-quarter arm slot. Utilized a downhill plane to the plate with all pitches. Fastball showed some cut to it sitting in the mid-70's with a curveball with 11/5 movements keeping hitters guessing. Righthanded hitter with a balanced stance before striding out to a wide hitting stance. Showed a flat bat path with a pull side approach. Also flashed a short, simple swing at the plate. Good Student.
