Brock Kobel is a 2022 OF/RHP/3B with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Lees Summit, MO who attends Lee's Summit West. Medium athletic build with good present strength and room for more. Right handed hitter, hits from an open stance with an upper body rotational swing, has quick hands and develops present bat speed, ball comes off the barrel well with some jump, pull side line drive contact, has a feel for the barrel and was consistent in his timing and barrel path. 6.82 runner, has young outfield footwork and actions with good arm strength. Also pitched, side step/hand drop delivery, tight high 3/4's arm slot, arm works much better in the outfield than on the mound. Fastball topped out at 77 mph with occasional cutting action. High level football player (running back) with excellent overall athleticism. Good student. Named to the Central Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
