Jack Davis is a 2022 RHP/3B with a 6-0 167 lb. frame from Springfield, IL who attends Sacred Heart Griffin. Young athletic build with long arms and legs and plenty of physical projection remaining. High leg lift delivery from the wind up, deep arm action in back, high 3/4's arm slot with some spinal tilt at release, repeats his delivery and arm slot well. Upper 70's fastball topped out at 79 mph, mostly straight, throws his fastball for strikes and really fills up the zone. Gets over his curveball well for 12/6 shape, showed the ability to add and subtract from his curveball effectively. 7.48 runner in the sixty, has good footwork in the infield and rounds the ball well, makes accurate throws. Right handed hitter, hits from a wide base with a upper body rotational swing from a low hand set, downhill swing plane. Excellent student.
