Asa Murry is a 2023 RHP/3B, OF with a 5-11 130 lb. frame from Boydton, VA who attends Kenston Forest. Medium frame with a young build showing room to fill out physically as he gets older. Ran a 7.00 second sixty yard dash with athletic strides. Primary Outfielder, fielding the baseball out front with feet shoulder width apart & square to the infield. Clean gather and then shows long arm action with accuracy to throws. Threw it 77 mph during drills to the bags. Right-Handed Hitter, starting from an upright and narrow stance. Creates some separation with hands during stride as he lands balanced. Throwing hands at the baseball as he gets the barrel through the zone on a linear plane. Looks to drive the baseball to the opposite field when possible. Great Student.
