Tyler Vansumeren is a 2026 OF/LHP with a 5-8 135 lb. frame from Tifton, GA who attends Tift County. Medium overall build with present athleticism and lean muscular lower half with plenty of time to develop good physicality. Ran the 60 yard dash in 8.50 seconds. Primary position OF, working aggressively to the ball as he fields off to the side. Clean glove actions working into a deep transition and full arm path. Loose action on throws producing velocity up to 78 mph, showing excellent carry and accuracy. LHH with wide, spread stance holding his hands high before accelerating bat head into the slot. Whippy swing with good extension, gets on plane well and displays solid barrel feel. Nice turn from the hips translating into juice on balls to the pull side, outstanding power projection. Secondary LHP, using full windup and belt high leg lift with slight coiled load over the rubber. Gets heavily into his backside in transition and stays in line to the plate. Works through a 3/4 angle, FB 73-77 mph with interesting spin profiles, CB in the mid-60's with sharp depth at times and firm CH in the low-70's. Got better throughout his appearance and once he got comfortable, really locked in a used complete arsenal very well. Very good student and very good two-way potential athlete for the future.
