Garrett White is a 2022 LHP/1B with a 6-6 180 lb. frame from Omaha, NE who attends Ralston. Large physical build with room to still strengthen and fill out as he continues to develop. Primary pitcher, has a shorter arm action from a three-quarters slot. Side steps into a mod leg lift. Good direction down the hill. There's more left to be unlocked in his lower half as he continues to mature on the hill. Fastball up to 77 mph, looks to stay away with his arsenal. Mixes in a straight change at 68 mph with good depth. Also throws a 1-to-7 shaped breaking ball with a larger shape and developing late bite to the plate. At first base, stays in front of the ball well and looks to read hops off the bat. Makes good throws to all bags and stays under control while on the move. At the plate, uses an upright and even stance that starts front loaded. Slight hand coil as he goes back into his load, lower handset, looks to use the middle of the field. Good student in the classroom as well.
