Owen Coffman is a 2021 RHP with a 6-9 190 lb. frame from Grinnell, IA who attends Grinnell. Exceptionally long and slender build with lots of room to get stronger. High leg raise delivery with a compact arm action in back that hides the ball well, stays directional well, tends to not use his lower half out of the stretch and lose velocity. Fastball topped out at 84 mph, moved the ball around the strike zone well with his fastball. Showed very good feel for his curveball to go with some 11/5 depth, threw it for strikes at any point in the count. It will all be about developing more strength as he moves forward as he has obvious physical attributes and has an idea how to pitch. Good student.
