Samuel Decarlo is a 2022 2B/SS with a 5-8 175 lb. frame from Signal Hill, CA who attends Millikan. Medium frame with an already filling out build showing strength throughout the frame. Ran a quick 6.92 second sixty yard dash. Primary Second Baseman, taking aggressive routes into the baseball as he worked around it smoothly. Clean gather out front before working into a very quick, urgent release. Strong arm showing as he threw it 84 mph during drills. Feel and instincts present as he projects in the middle infield going forward. Right-Handed Hitter, starting balanced with high hands before loading up. Strides out and lands in a good hitting position. Explosive hands as he fires the hips and generates big bat speed. Impacts out front as he drove it back up the middle with backspin consistently. Confident in the box as he found barrels with every cut. Outstanding Student. Named to California Workout Camp Top Prospect List.
