Landon Peterson is a 2027 SS/RHP, IF with a 6-0 135 lb. frame from Riverside, CA who attends Summit. Slender athletic frame. Ran a 7.48 60-yard dash. Primary middle infielder with fundamental footwork to the baseball, consistently gets to an athletic fielding position, shows feel for taking lateral angles to the baseball, clean glove actions moving around the infield and a solid average throwing arm across the diamond. Hit from a medium base with a compact swing and notable bat-to-ball skills. Swings connected to backside rotation with rhythm and balance, spraying line drive contact to all fields. Showed a three pitch-mix on the mound out of a three-quarter slot. Mid 70's fastballs, a slider with some vertical tilt and a fading change-up. Projects as the frame fill out more. Excellent student.
